YOUTH GROUP (Monthly)
Jr. and Sr. High Youth (Grades 6-12) – members, visitors and guests gather from 2 PM to 4 PM on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Sunrise UMC. Youth Group includes studies, Bible studies, meals, games, crafts and fun outings. Contact the Church Office or Pastor David for information..
CUB SCOUTS
Sunrise UMC sponsors a Cub Scout Pack (Pack 619) for boys in the 1st thru 5th grades (ages 7-10). Information about Pack 619, including meeting times/places and key contacts, can be found on their web site at www.pack619.com.
BOY SCOUTS (Weekly)
Sunrise UMC hosts a Boy Scout Troop (Troop 634) for boys in the 6th thru 12th grades (ages 11-17). The Troop meets at the church on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm. For more information on Troop 634, contact Will Cleland.
PRAYER GROUP (Monthly)
We organize the prayer teams, phone and internet, and prayer vigils. We are in prayer for our church, community, state, nation, world and YOU. We gather together on the 2nd Sunday of each month after the worship service to share together and plan for future events. For information, contact Barb Schenkel.
ENCOURAGERS (Weekly)
All ages are welcome. Group meets on Wednesdays from 9 to 10:30. Study and discussion are about people from the Bible. Members often go to lunch afterwards. Contact Martha Dameron for further information. We love visitors.
SMALL GROUP STUDY
Adult study group meets on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesdays of the month at the church from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. This study group focuses on faith subjects through structured book and bible study as well as open discussion. Anyone wanting additional information or interested in joining this group, please contact Bruce Gonsalves at the church or via email at brucegon@cox.net.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY (Weekly)
Gather with friends and visitors at Terry Price’s home. Group selects different well-known Christian writers to read and discuss. All guests of any age are welcome. For information, contact Terry Price.
SENIORS – JUST FOR FUN (Monthly)
Everyone is welcome. Gather at 11:30am on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for lunch and conversation at Ironworks Restaurant in Bellair Golf Club (602-843-0909), north on 45th Avenue from Bell Road. Contact Marie French for more information.
MEN’S BREAKFAST WITH PRAYER (Monthly)
Casual breakfast gathering for sharing and good fun. Gather at Sunrise UMC at 8:00 AM on the 2nd Saturday of each month. For any questions, contact Terry Price.

All women - visitors, guests and members gather for study, discussion and sharing. Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. Group uses different studies and holds social outings. Contact the Church Office or Pastor David for information.
