Welcome from our Pastor
I would like to personally welcome you to Sunrise United Methodist Church. Visitors are a part of the heart of our congregation. Please come to a worship service so that we can become acquainted. You are also invited to call or email with any questions.
We are a family church of about 140 members with all ages of people from newborns to active members in their 80?s. We have two worship services. 8:30 AM on Sundays is a classic worship service with liturgy, choirs and hymnals. 11:00 AM on Sundays is a contemporary praise worship service led by our band.
Sunrise is known for its extensive outreach mission work in the community and you are invited to come and work with us. The programs include monthly dinners for a homeless shelter, other projects such as food and clothing, back to school programs, programs that help with tutoring and working with children and adults in need, and Habit for Humanity.
Our prayer ministry desires to pray for people everywhere. Our prayer is that God will richly bless your lives. We invite you to call us with requests for prayers.
Sunrise UMC desires to be involved in the immediate neighborhoods. We host an annual chicken barbeque dinner open to the public on the second Saturday of November. Any event or worship service is open to visitors and the community.
Please call or stop by. We welcome you and desire to become acquainted with you.
